Born in Teaneck, NJ, June 16, 1944.  Graduated Teaneck High School in June 1962, enlisted in the Marine Corps and arrived in Parris Island, SC July 6, 1962.

Following Basic Training, went to NAS Memphis for MOS 7041, Aviation Operations, then duty station with WMD-1 at MCAS El Toro, serving in Clerical Positions, maintaining Flight and Pilot records, aircraft locations, airfield activity records and equipment availability.  Discharged as PFC (E-2) in 1964.

After raising my two children to school age, I worked 20 years in NYC as Executive Secretary to a Creative Director; 10 Years in Teaneck as Office Manager for a Plastics Supply Corporation, then 5 years with a Kosher supervision company as Office Manager.  I retired in 2003 to care for my aging mother.

I learned about the Marine Corps League and the Gooney Bird Detachment in 2016 and joined in March of that year.  I have proudly served as Jr. Vice Commandant, Sr. Vice Commandant, 2 terms as Commandant and presently hold the office of Judge Advocate.

Also active in Teaneck as a volunteer 'Senior Greeter' at the Municipal Building and as a Member of the Patriotic Observance Advisory Board, participating in Township observances of Memorial Day, 9/11 Remembrance Day and Veteran's Day.
